Knee-High Naturalist is for kids 2-5 years old who have NOT gone to kindergarten. It is an hour-long program held at Hagge Park from 5:30-6:30 p.m. The kids will get a snack, listen to a story, create crafts, and participate in activities relating to the theme. There is a $5.00 fee you pay when arriving.

If you live in the cities listed below, you can sit at home and watch for birds!
- Lake View
- Auburn
- Grant City
If you live outside of these three cities, you must only survey birds that you see within the cities listed above.
This is a scientific research survey that uses the help of volunteers. If you would like to volunteer but don't have the birding skills of an expert, that is okay! Download the Merlin Bird ID app. This app will help you figure out which bird you saw or heard.
Schedule
9am - 11am: Intro and Hike around Hagge
11am - 12:30pm: Lunch and Feeder watch (Lunch is not provided)
12:30pm - 4pm: Self count around the county
